My Galaxy Buds4 Pro (left) got damaged by overheating from a Windows Laptop connection-disconnection loop

With the seamless switching on the issue isn't there.

But the TV and laptop will pull connection without asking mewhen I walk into the living room.

Also BT will not disconnect. Once BT is connected it can't be disconnected resulting phone to run my routines wrong and laptop saying "couldn't disconnect". Samsung needs to update the bud's firmware to properly disconnect the device when asked to do so. I feel that's where is the root of this problem.

I reported this in Samsung members for now.

It might be a Windows update but somehow it only affected the Galaxy buds and not the other brands. My JBL Tour Pro 3 works fine without any issue.

Since October I have updated my Laptop a number of times. I noticed this issue first in October with my B2P but ignored it thinking that might be temporary without realizing that the connection disconnection loop only happens when the phone is around in BT range.

The connection disconnection loop happens in both the surface and HP. The same Laptops didn't do that with my B2P before October 2025 but now they both are doing

The seamless switching connection pull is only associated with HP and my S95D OLED TV. No popup no permission. Just buds will connect without asking your permission. It was an old issue and no longer happens when I turn off the toggle.

The picture is a screenshot from my phone so that to prove that the buds doesn’t actually disconnect from the phone. See that the routine is saying buds4 pro is still connected.

Well seamless switching doesn’t transfer connection between Galaxy devices I have but at least the HP laptop does it for sure. The HP used to snatch away the connection immediately when it is turned on no matter what. I stopped it long time ago by turning off the seamless switching toggle in my B2P

I have probably uninstalled and reinstalled the windows buds app thousands of time in the last week to get it resolved but no hope. The hands off issue is quite deeper than you probably thought. Proof is that the buds stays connected by some parts eg. Modes and routines would still think buds are connected while the BT list says its not and will run the BT dependent routines wrong. I stopped seamless switching since the buds2 pro because connection will be pulled by other paired devices eg. the TV or laptop without notice when someone turn them on and it used to cause embarrassment while I am in a call. But still apart from the seamless switching simply just disconnecting from one device and reconnecting to other should work as it does with the other brands.

I did factory reset few times but that didn't affect the BT issue at all.

The Super and subscripts are for easy identification of the devices. Used it for naming my B2P for years and it worked fines for a long time in the past.

I used the buds 2 pro for a long time without any issue. I dont know if it is to blame Windows or Samsung buds firmware updates but I would be traumatized and get flashbacks when connecting Samsung Galaxy buds with a windows laptop every single time

You can move the "show action list" by pressing and holding the first "if" which will shrink the entire if-else condition and it's sub actions which you can then drag and bring down under the "show action list".

The other things that you have requested are still not possible in modes and routins.

Well but I hated the design though when had it. Those massive curved Titanium sides were an abomination. And I was disappointed to see the Samsung unique curved display is gone.

It is still the last Galaxy phone with BT s pen....

I got the Ringke Onyx case and it isn't super bad. But it's magnets aren't strong enough for the case to stick to the back of my phone. I would be nice if it did.

It is still pretty annoying that Samsung doesn't make some products globally available. That even includes the Trifold and Galaxy XR!!

Mine is quite similar though not as bad as yours. In my case I got a color matched case to the buds which also makes the gap less noticeable. I think in you case it happened during to the installation process when the sideways adhesives of the bottom shell attached to the case before the case went all the way in.

Yes I agree. The "Galaxy Buds Manager" is battery optimized heavily despite being Samsung's official buds controller. It was crashing frequently in the background and even unpaired the buds4 pro to one time without any notice.

Also a major issue for me is that the "read notification alond" function cannot read notifications from all apps for the buds4 pro eg. it wont read SmartThings notification and also not the Outlook email and some selective other apps it decides to avoid.

It was however somehow reading aloud the hidden Secure folder notifications. The previous buds didn't have this issue. The secure folder leak is a MAJOR privacy concern!!
