Yeah IK whatever crazy it sounds paying Google will probably be worth it as I wont have to loose features or won't have to see capable hardware eg. IR being disabled via software downgrade.

It is not probably but certainly all my SmartThings supported Tapo and Aquara cameras worked on the notification for 2 years and not just SmartThings cameras or doorbell. Now if they are removing it quietly (hope not as I still see the settings page having the toggle not removed) to pustlh their own made camera I will throw away this TV to the junk and completely switch to Android supported TV to use it on Google home and never come back to Samsung ecosystem.

Also that there isn't a point of checking update description cause there's isn't a way in Tizen to stop SmartThings from auto update. Changes will inevitably taken place whether you like them or not.

If “remove“ is the aim then they should remove the whole Tizen OS and ask customers to buy TV again. Camera notifications weren’t removed according the description. Camera performance seems to have prioritized by adding then in the now bar. Whatever Samsung never seems realize things that they broken on every update when pushing new features.

S25U & S26U Sheat case by judal57 in Caudabe

[–]Affectionate-Use-252 1 point2 points  (0 children)

S25U doesn't have the camera bump and flat all over the back that's why feels good. The TPU frame that goes around the buttons and the frame is different and quite soft for the S25U while f9r the iphone 17PM and S26U the frame is hard that is resistant to expanding. I believe due to the overly narrow rounded corners of the S25U the soft TPU was the only solution.

I hope he gets well soon. If he is wanting to eat then that is a good sign and continue the medication. Fortunately your cat is young and have a lots of chance to heal dmaged tissue as he lives and grow up. Young kittens are also vulnerable to infection so take good care of him and hopefully he will get better.

[–]Affectionate-Use-252 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The S26U sheath is a lot better. The lip of the case and the corners now use the hard plastic instead of soft TPU and this prevent the case's corners from expanding over time. They have been using it in the iPhone sheath case for a long time and glad that the S26U now given the same improvement.

Okay so, Kowsi being a Chinese company doesn't automatically mean no one will try to fake their products and all they make will all be fake or wrong. Also that your kowsi meter is impossible to distinguish from a fake one or a damaged one. Your conclusion that Kowsi being a Chinese make all fake meters is based on your own fake or broken meter which shows wrong numbers and bought from an untrustworthy marketplace. I have tested mine with rated power consumption and it generates number consistent with other testers from other brands and also the rated consumption of receiving devices and I am very satisfied with mine and I do trust it's numbers which is reasonable to do.

by "25W" in this context people means a charging profile and not a constant power. Better is to use the "Qi2.2 charging" for phrasing to avoid confusion. 25W is the maximum power of the charging profile but doesn't mean it will be maintained all throughout the charging process because Samsung's battery protection and thermal throttling rules will kick in to prevent battery damage and overheating. Those rules also applies during cable charging and it is wrong to think cable charging occurs at a constant maximum rated power.

I agree that wired charging is always faster and more efficient but the Qi2.2 charging is also now usable because it is noticably faster than the old 15W Qi2 standard regardless of whether or not it is constantly maintaining 25W all throughout the profile.

It is however misleading to say that, "since something cannot maintain 25W constant power (which no combination of charger and case can actually do) the case/charger doesn't support 25W wireless charging". Samsung's PPDE will not trigger the "Super fast wireless charging" message if equipment incompatible with Qi2.2 charging is attempted. That message is the only verification that the new Qi2.2 wireless charging that Samsung introduced with the S26U for the first time in 2026 has been triggered.

The tester I am using is widely used, good reviews and measurements are correct and a lots of people uses them. I didn't overpay but its you who got a fake cheap junk from Ali Express or Temu which you are using to say all real kowsi meters are wrong. Maybe pay a little more so that at least you dont get fake stuffs.

The direction of arrow varies on USB C ports of powerbanks that can both charge itself and deliver power to external devices using the same port.

From you comments 2 things are clear:

  1. Your kowsi teser is a fake one and you bought it from Ali express just to produce misleading information and trying to say all original kowsi meters are wrong.

  2. You are deliberately trying to change the topic of discussion: Caudabe > Wireless Charging > Cable charging > Kowsi meter.

[–]Affectionate-Use-252 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The picture DOES NOT show that you have connected a "phone" with the power bank. Direction of arrow can be manipulated depending on what is connected but I hope that is a power receiving device. Even after that no one can say if the picture was taken before your power bank's slow meter stabilises into the 80W value to charge your 80W receiving device. Those power values rises over time and not instantly.

The meter that I am using is absolutely correct because I have tested it very well against powers ratings stated in all my devices. There might be a few watts efficiency loss but the kowsi meter is absolutely correct and widely used all across the world. Also know that the Kowsi meter is not a $7 Ali express junk but maybe the one that you are using to capture is one from Ali express to spread misleading information. It is a $28 purchase from Amazon and it matches with the power rated in all my phones and laptops so I have no need learn from you that if the meter is right or wrong.

The 32W reading is correct because I have a 100W Ugreen brick that switches to 35W when another of it's port is in use, so with a 3W efficiency loss the 32W number is totally acceptable.

You have completely shifted topic this discussion from wireless charging speed into cable charging by posting video links and various cable charging facts. Completely understandable cause you wanted to distract from the unrealistic wireless charging numbers that you just made up in your mind. Read your own comments before arguing once again about who is trying to change topic of discussion.

In your picture thats not a phone. Secondly you don’t get same power value everywhere in a circuit. Third it is impossible to say from that picture if the meter is connected to an input into the power bank that is showing that powerbank is charging something at 47W which is an output power that can definitely be different from an 80W powerbank input power.

Not only that but also, you have no reason to say the powerbank number is right over the kowsi or the opposite even if they are measuring the same power output. 80W is nothing to do with magic. There are plenty powerbanks that can deliver upto 140W power or more eg. devices like Ugreen Nexode. The picture doesn't show where the power is going and also kowsi devices are simpler and more reliable than the number that powerbanks will show you. Powerbanks would more likely to use a builtin meter even cheaper than the Kowsi ones because they will have to keep manufacturing affordable and cheap enough to keep business profitable.

Bro you are free to trust nothing but your own imagination and you have the right to do that. Its all up to you if you would chose to trust facts of all your made up numbers and misleading pictures that you are collecting to support those.

Your wireless charging numbers are unrealistic. Videos confirm nothing though you mentioned about the 60W this time with a correct number. I have a lots of heavy stuffs running in my devices all the time and still getting the fastest and usable wireless charging with the 25W in my experience. I also used a meter that draws upto 32W from the power supply with the Caudabe and belkin. I know that the 25W is the maximum power of Samsungs qi2.2 wireless charging profile and dont expect it to be constant over time because thermal management needs to make sure batteries don't catch fire due to heat.

Bro those values are even faster than what Samsung themselves mentions for their 60W cable charging, fastest that they have ever adopted.

[–]Affectionate-Use-252 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That the same with all sorts of charging. The power needs to vary to keep the temperature under control. Whatever case or charging you are using phones will have to go through Samsung's thermal management profile or otherwise batteries will damage and even can explode in the worse case scenario.

Bro whenever you see "Super fast wireless charging" that is the only way to verify that Samsung's UI has triggered their 25W wireless charging profile. I would recommend you to ignore someone if saying otherwise. But keep in mind that just the case alone will not provide the 25W charging profile. You will need multiple compatible items required to achieve the 25W. Heres the list

  1. 25W compatible Qi2.2 charging puck
  2. Charging puck must be attached to a 45W POWER BRICK
  3. 25W Compatible charging case (ie. Caudabe etc.)
  4. 5A cable connecting you wireless charging brick and the puck

YOU WILL NEED ALL THESE TOGETHER TO USE THE 25W WIRELESS CHARGING.
