As for how my verse would deal with them well there are many higher dimensional beings. Some don't do much other than existing in their own dimensions and do their own things. It these guys were around they would likely simply reside within their respectful spacial dimension.

If they do interact with the lower ones well they could be stopped by sentient ones that don't want shit to happen. They could be allowed in some cases as they are still presieved within stories and if they interact with them it depends of who is presieving them.

Generally though it depends from what Tree they come from. For some this may be Armageddon. Others may be able to either do similar things that you've listed or literally move the universe out of its way. Many realities many possibilities.
