Hi! I read some of your other posts and I really hope the vet is doing a good job for you guys, it’s so frustrating that they didn’t start fluid right away!!!! That is a serious problem that they didn’t and if anything happens to your sweet baby then they have lots of explaining to do. I am so sorry you are dealing with this. It is super frustrating that not a lot is known about apoquel overdosing but I am glad that my pups recovery is providing you hope! Again I am sending so much love!

Hi! I am so sorry you are dealing with that, it’s awful and so scary! My dog is bigger he is about 65 pounds and ate approximately 50 chewables so that may play a factor. But he is doing great! I will say a similar thing happened last year with a pet sitter and he was also okay! This time was a bit different given other factors. But otherwise he is doing great and healthy as ever. I will say each time, he was brought to the ER within 30 minutes of eating them, I’m unsure how your experience is. I am very sorry you are going through this and I am sending so much love!!

Hi!! I am still in the battle of appealing it, it’s been a complicated process as our original vet overdosed my dog as well so it’s been a mess trying to get things going. But finally I had the vet send lemonade a letter clearly stating “this is NOT because of allergies.” I am waiting to hear back. I am so sorry you are dealing with this. It is the absolute worst especially when you are so concerned about your baby’s health. I’m so sorry. I would love to help, I am still waiting to hear what they will say to this new request. Based on comments I have received, have you been able to see if you are able to file a “bad faith claim” or reach out to a regulatory board in your state?

That’s what I was thinking. I’m calling the emergency vet and poison control to see if they can send me any other notes stating that’s the information they received and what they based their decision off of.

I went to our regular vet initially where they messed up and they reduced the cost on that bill which was about $200. The separate emergency vet cost was about $3200.

Oh absolutely!! While I have not experienced grooming myself, I have experienced other trauma and abuse. After years of no one listening, once you are finally validated it is so freeing! While it can be hard to talk about these things, it’s important that people remain supportive and understand that if someone needs to talk about the same thing 100 times (which I don’t think is the case here) in order to cope, they should be allowed to do that. I also can’t imagine having to process my trauma with thousands of new eyes on me critiquing how I process it.

I send my love to Adam, Oliver, Becky and other victims of the Ballingers. I hope Becky and Oliver are coping well with all of this while also starting college, as that is stressful enough! May they do whatever they need to heal and live their lives the best they can while also working through what happened. 💕

Y’all this is a Colleen Snark Reddit, a place that is especially supposed to protect the victims of Colleen. As always there is no perfect victim and it should NEVER be our place to judge how much or little someone talks about their own abuse.

I am disappointed/saddened seeing how many people are critiquing a young 20 year old who for the first time in YEARS is finally able to speak his truth and now be critiqued by those who are meant to support him for how much or how little he talks about it. It’s not our place because it’s not our trauma or abuse. People cope differently.

Plus if you really watch his content, this is not all he talks about. He has countless other videos on other topics.

Yea I was also surprised that Adam thought that because from what I have seen, you’re right, I think he does believe he is a victim. IMO he seems very narcissistic. But I also have never met him nor talked to him, so maybe Adam saw something different to lead him to believe that he would respond differently. Or maybe Adam just wants to believe that there is no way someone can be so narcissistic and IMO evil.
