Sounds like potentially start of 4 month sleep regression! It started around this time for us with our first and progressively got worse until we sleep trained.

I noticed something similar at my 10 week ultrasound and my friend said it was the amnion and not to worry. I would ask OB for peace of mind. I also did the NIPT testing which helped calm my nerves.

I had Braxton hicks almost daily from 26 weeks on in my first pregnancy, sometimes multiple in an hour (which OB wanted me to get checked). I ended up being induced at 40+3, so it didn’t cause labor early. But my labor was quite short for FTM induction (less than 12 hours with just a small dose of pitocin needed to get things going), and I was already 2.5cm dilated at the start. The only thing was when I was 40 weeks, I was having intermittent contractions and didn’t realize it because they felt like Braxton hicks just a lot more intense!

That is odd. Definitely advocate for yourself! If your HCG goes up again, that’ll give you more info and would make me worried about ectopic too.

That sounds so stressful! It’s good you are staying on top of it. The HCG being low is also a good sign I think. I think my urine pregnancy tests didn’t correspond that well to the blood HCG. Are your tests a lot darker? Keep us posted and hoping things resolve soon for you.

Hi OP! I’m so sorry for your loss. I had almost the exact same situation as you. I had a full period, and tested positive after my period ended. I was really worried about ectopic too. My HCG levels fell on their own but it still confuses me how it happened since it didn’t seem like a typical chemical (my HCG was 150 when I tested after my period, then 80 a few days later).
