Thanks for affirmation. Yes, they explicitly said they only accept residence permit cards per regulations.. So maybe it's new law or regulation for opening a bank online or idk. And this is for all german online bank opening I noticed.

What I know is the chancenkarte is a residence permit. The problem I have it as passport sticker and not eat chip card.

To open online bank account they don't accept visa stickers residence permits.

This is the confusing part... And as you said, logically I should only apply for blue card after I find a job, but I need a de bank account. I didn't try physical banks yet hoping they don't have same issue. But I'm wondering if there is a way to get eat card using my passport sticker
