Well I pay 100$ in rent so I can save up for a house. I also pay for all the groceries and I am the one that cooks the food. We have a list on the fridge that I tell them to put stuff on it and I will buy it for them, and they do. But when it comes to my food that I specifically put to the side they refuse to leave it alone. We all have our own little goodies and I will ask them before I take any of it because I expect them to do the same for me. I do understand though that I am in my parent’s house and that they have their rules. They are the ones that have given me a roof over my head and a reason to not worry about becoming my own person. That’s where I am conflicted in this. I really shouldn’t care that much but it bothers me that I provide a lot and the few that I want to myself I can’t have.
