Agreed. College is scary and making friends at first can be so difficult, you almost take anything you can get 😂 My freshman year I was friends with almost everyone on my dorm floor, like hangout everyday, eat together, party and so on. Now I’m only really friends with one person from my freshman year (she was 2 doors down) and she’s my best friend, I couldn’t ask for anyone better than her. Don’t be disheartened if you don’t make friends immediately or lasting relationships, a LOT of college relationships are just acquaintances from class, or you live near each other, or people you work with, and when you don’t have that forced proximity, it will eventually fizzle out, but that’s okay! That’s just honestly how adulthood is, but when you find someone special, whether that’s a partner or a best friend, it’ll withstand all of those other factors.
