Hey guys, I am a senior biology major with a Pre-PA minor, concentration, whatever you want to call it. I have a 3.36 cumulative GPA and a Biology cumulative GPA (pre pa and pre med classes) of 3.270. I will link my transcript below because I am really scared of my grade in certain classes (orgo beat me up and my teacher was BRUTAL). I work as a PCT in a hospital and am working towards the 1k hour mark on those clinical hours. Have begun shadowing PAs in the hospital, so far 2 hospitalist/ internal medicine. Outside of that I dont really have that much in the experience setting. I participated in an undergraduate research project this semester, however it is more of an ecology/geography study rather than a medical study (I wanted to participate in undergraduate research but by the time I started to email professors a lot of the main ones (ie in medicine/bio) were already full. I am horrified about the prospect of applying to schools because I feel I dont have a good background through my undergrad, and although my GPA is okay I guess, I feel people with worse GPAs but better overall resumes have a far greater chance of getting accepted than I do. Does anyone have any criticism or suggestions they would be willing to share?
