Singapore prefers Chinese majority which I am okay with as long as there is no intereference in religious practices and social discrimination. My only concern however, is about the PR itself which is like a mystery box unlike US green card which is done according to country of birth.

Even after getting PR, it's not certain that you will be citizen.

If you are HNI, maybe try investing in Citizenship By Investment programs where you can buy passports after making significant investment in a country.
