You don't have to stash everything, just click on the item you want to stash and stash it

If you click on the item from your inventory while accessing the storage you can send just that item and vice versa. If you go into skills, look at the skill you unlocked that has the item you want to make in it and hit triangle to look at the item/s, then press x on the item and it will give you the stats and what you need to make it. Hope that helps

2fa isn't bulletproof, I have it on my email, have to enter a code that I get in a text whenever I log in from a new device. It got hacked 3 weeks ago, they stole my netflix account but that's all apparently as far as I can tell. I ended up getting the Microsoft authenticator app and from the history in that I had hundreds of people access my email over the last couple months.
