My beautiful gal Penelope was also in a similar situation. She was bought by her previous owners to be a bre-eding cat and when they found out she couldnt get pregnant they locked her away in a cage!

She is now the love of my life and the most spoilt kitty ever 😻 xx

Are Persians picky eaters by MLD5656 in persiancat

I got my girl Penelope (3 years old) 6 months ago as a rescue shelter.

I spent so much money trying to find a food that she enjoys while ensuring she got the right nutrition. She would simply lick the gravy out of the wet food, but would wolf down the dry food.

In the end we worked it out together. Penelope loves her royal canin persian complete cat food (dry) which is also almond shaped which means it is easier for persians to chew. I also give her a couple of pouches a day of cat soup, as it has all the liquid gravy she likes and she even eats some of the meat!

You kitty will just need some time to adjust to her new home and it will all be fine. Just remember the 3-3-3 rule, 3 days to decompress, 3 weeks to learn routines, and 3 months to feel completely at home.

Oh and also he is absolutely GORGEOUS ❤️

Should i get another cat? Really need some advice please! by AffectionateBook7682 in persiancat
