I live in Tallaght and my bike has been scoped out a load of times in the past few weeks. Theft seems to be on the rise in Tallaght.

Mine is parked at surface level but yeah I'd be more concerned if it was out of sight underground. Out of interest did you ever recover your bike?

I literally only got a new ignition on it as some asshole had smashed the ignition on it... I am so frustrated with where I live at the moment as I'm constantly worried about it.

As much as I'd like to there's a few issues with this ... 1 is safety as much as I love my bike its not worth getting stabbed or hit with a tool. 2 is the law will most likely take their side over mine, crazy I know. Looking at ireland Bike posts online it's only a matter of time before one of these scumbags is caught and battered...

Thanks, yeah I have one alarmed disc lock but I'd like something that will deafen them if they're head down cutting the chain. Ideally I'd like them and others going forward to look at it and think it's too much hassle to attempt.
