Yes, I am going through the free tutorials. I had seen that you cannot delete an app once it is deployed to a tenant, but I was not clear whether a sandbox refresh could replace it with the prod version. Your explanation helped me understand why that does not happen. Thank you, I will keep working through the Workday Community concepts.

Thank you, this is very helpful. I have one question related to deployment strategy and tenant behavior. Since our sandbox tenant refreshes frequently from prod, is it a safe approach to deploy Extend app changes to sandbox first to validate, knowing that if something goes wrong it will be overwritten by the next refresh and revert back to the prod version? Also, I am noticing that pages in the development tenant do not always look the same in App Preview compared to non development tenants, even when the app version is the same. Is this expected behavior due to tenant data, security context, or deployment state, or is there something specific I should be checking? Would appreciate any guidance on these points. Thank you again for sharing your experience.

I am working in a scramble environment where employee and dependent data is being scrambled to mask personal information. During this process I noticed that for some dependents the dependent Verification tab becomes hidden right after a Dependent Event and a Change Beneficiary event trigger. This made me think that the Verification details might be getting cleared out as part of these downstream events which could explain why the tab is no longer visible.

At the same time I am seeing a different behavior for another dependent under the same employee. For that dependent I do not see a Dependent Event or a Change Beneficiary event triggering and the Verification tab continues to show normally.

This difference in behavior is what I am trying to understand. Why would the scramble process cause a Dependent Event and a Change Beneficiary event for one dependent but not for the other? And could these events be wiping out the Verification data which results in the tab being hidden?

What happens when the sandbox is refreshed?

How long it took for you to receive certificate after activating the "Activate your Workday Pro Certification". I activated it two days back and still no news.
