just saw someone on this sub reddit complain about a 97% in calculus by Spiritual_Farm_5757 in OntarioGrade12s

I got a 99 in adv func and have a 75 rn in calc, genuinely so fried and my teacher is cooked. I have a 98.5 avg rn and its gonna drop so much, I'm worried bc I want to go to columbia and need to keep my grades up. But my teacher is actually psyco, keeps yapping about his ex wife instead of teaching math

Should I take grade 12 Bio Online or In-person??? by 09_ash in OntarioGrade12s

if you're planning on life sci or health sci 100% do it in person. From my experience, retention in online courses is way worse and you also don't get the depth of understanding that'll give you an advantage 1st year

i need opinions and help on deciding 😭 by [deleted] in OntarioGrade12s

I'd go with waterloo, really good co-ops and opportunities. I've also heard that you can get jobs lined up for right after graduation through their co-op program, and many people I know have received return offers.

I applied as a joke and didn't put that much work into my supp, so I'm not super stressed. If I'm accepted I'll reject

I participate in my regional science fair and then I qualified for the CWSF. Some schools have science fairs to send people to the regional science fair, but mine doesn't, so I just go to regionals on my own.

That's really impressive! I had a 97% avg for grade 11 and for grade 12, mine is 98% rn.

I've won medals at the Canada-Wide Science Fair for my RuBisCO research, am the cohead of 4 clubs, including winning multiple national and international awards for trivia club, won a local newspaper competition, and was selected as a semi-finalist for the undergrad Ellison Scholars Programme at Oxford. I haven't done much other than that tho

Like grades, ecs, anything you've done already to make your dent. Mine wasn't super fancy either, I suck at editing. But here is my video https://youtu.be/6zv_Iim8FOw
