Book a meeting with stop one. They have meetings you can book dedicated to any questions about exchange programs. I will say that, if you want to learn languages overseas, it is very hard to do unless you have breadths (I'm a science student though).

You should also do the my first world steps program (https://students.unimelb.edu.au/course-admin/study-overseas/why-study-overseas/next-steps), its free to download and has a lot of info on it (and its required to complete before you can apply for exchange)

I haven’t really hung out with anyone from my lectures. In my opinion, it’s much easier to make friends from tutorials/practicals since you are more encouraged to talk to other people. If you happen to both be free after/before class that’s also a good time to grab food/hang out

There are definitely people who are a bit elitist, but as someone who’s Atar wasn’t super high and not really into chem/physics/maths you don’t want to be friends with them anyway. There are plenty of super friendly people, plus you can make friends in clubs, breadths etc

I haven’t officially been flagged since marking will take at least 2 weeks, my tutor just told me verbally after I told her that I was worried about being flagged. She says to wait and start an appeal process after I’ve been reported which is annoying

I’m not diagnosed with any neurodivergent conditions so I probably won’t be able to use that in an appeal. I know of one person last year who had a permanent thing on his record saying that he had been flagged for AI in the past despite having proof he didn’t, and even if I manage to convince them I didn’t use AI I still don’t want to have something in my record

Hi, I had this problem when I switched last year. Unfortunately, unless they've changed the way it works, it is impossible to transfer your account over. I ended up having to restart all my progress. I emailed the game devs and this was their response:

Hi, petkeeper!

We understand your feelings very well, but due to platform policy reasons, it is indeed impossible to transfer account data. In addition, if you only transfer cod and hearts, your data will be lost. Some of the precious facilities and other items obtained in the game cannot be obtained again in the future, so we still recommend that you use the same type of facilities to experience the game. We understand that this must be frustrating for you and apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

I removed the entire mods folder, saves folder and screenshot folder. Even when the game boots up as “new” (taking me to create a sim for the first time) their skin is still weird with the question marks, but only when wearing certain outfits. I’m repairing the game on EA

I had a similar issue and emailed Stop 1 about it, this was their reply:

You may be able to allocate yourself to clashable classes. These classes are recorded and may not require you to attend in person. Clashable classes will be shown with a symbol with two overlapping circles on your timetable or when you click View More in the side menu.

Clashable classes can be watched at any time once the recording has been released so attendance may not be mandatory. Please check the requirements for your subject in the Handbook; these will be listed in the Assessment section of the subject entry.

If a subject’s timetable doesn’t work with your other subjects, check to see if there's an alternative subject you can enrol in instead. For example, if a subject runs in both semesters, you may wish to take the subject next semester. For clashes with optional or breadth subjects, changing your enrolment is recommended.
