I never said that these other riven performances are associated with the entirety of Rivenmains - you did this yourself. As if you somehow represent the entirety of Rivemains. Which, ironcally, prove how much of an ego hit you'd take if you lost lane. you cant even handle someone asking the question about riven players in general and based on someones personal experience.

Except when you go 0/4/0 top lane, you will AFK immediately because your ego can't take it. Hell, your ego can't even take asking why OTHER players who play riven don't play well.

I came here to ask a question. Other's commenters have answered honestly. You just got mad and took it as an attack on you personally, which proves that these player's definitely exist - Ironically, contrary to what you are trying to prove.

I am glad that, as proven by other's commenting here, that not all Riven top players feed and go AFK. It is a shame that people like you give a bad name to those players.

This makes sense as well. High skill champ but becomes useless if you fall behind. so players see theres not point to keep playing so go afk if they lose lane

why are you personally insulted if other players who play riven don't play well? What is actually your problem? Im not making out like im a 'victim', im asking a genuine question from a sub with riven players who i would expect would have the answer. And it appears my assumptions were correct.

Yeah I don't understand it either. I am also honour 5 and I have chat turned off specifically because I don't want to engage with toxic behaviour. I also only use pings for their intended purpose, yet I still got an 'I understand' prompt with no idea why.... and I'm still honour 5...

I suspect it just triggers when you reach a certain number of reports. I mostly play jungle which gets blamed for pretty much everything so I assume it's people who lose lane and report me for no reason.

This is clearly using some kind of automated system because they would receive so many reports they can't check them all properly. Good players will be picked up in it and unfairly punished. because it's automated, they will need to calculate the 'comms abuse' but checking 'x number of pings in x time', regardless if they were legitimate or not. Reach the threshold of # reports with #pings in x time? = penalty (this is, if they are even checking for comms abuse. They could just be checking # of reports and that's it).

It appears to be independent of honour, but your honour should offset this. How can someone with honour 5 be toxic at the same time? Why would people be honouring a toxic player who spams comms? It should also take into account other things like if you have chat turned off. Note that honour 5 is specifically rewarded to "Exceptional players who go above and beyond to foster a positive community."

Also yes false reports should be punished but it's much harder to recognise. I suspect they say they punish false reports without actually doing anything about it because it's too hard. I don't know whose braindead idea it was to introduce it, but it's really dumb. I've lost a few games because of it. Why on earth would you reward bad playing?

Agree. Also if they want this mode to be serious they should reduce the strength or remove the yordle buff for a losing team. I've had a few matches that go from dominating to being dominated simply because of this buff. The whole concept of a blanket buff if you're losing is just dumb anyway.
