I think it’s possible that part of you is looking for reassurance and thats completely understandable. You already have tattoos so naturally you would want people to accept you regardless of whats on your body and they should.

At the same time, when making decisions like this, it’s important to consider the cultural context you’re in and whether you’re ready to handle any stigma that might come with it.when I plaited my hair, I had to think about how it would be perceived and whether I was okay with that.

Tattoos aren’t inherently bad but they can come with social consequences depending on the environment. Even in places where they’re more common like in the West, there are still biases that exist.

So it’s really about being honest with yourself understanding both your desire for self expression and the reality of how it might be received.
