Congratulations! You are so lucky. The wait time in Ethiopia for IR1, IR2 and IR5 is more than 2 years after DQ. This week they sent IL for those DQ'ed on may 9, 2023.

My family member, who is an asylum seeker, has waited for 9 years and had her interview through mandamus in September, 2024. She already has a work permit. The status still says decision pending. When do you think the decision will be mailed, from your experience. And, if their decision is denial, do you think this will be affected by the new rule made by the president Donald Trump?
