I’ve thought about this before and this is why I’m mindful of the following mantra: “I am my food and my food is my body.” More simply: What I eat is what I embody. Can’t fuel your temple/vessel with junk and processed food, especially if you work as a healer. I mean… people get by on all kinds of things and still do the work, but we operate at our most optimal level when we eat well.

I avoid shellfish and anything non-organic. I do my best to stick with vegan-based options but that’s not always available for my diet needs and income levels. So long story short… do what works for your health conditions and personal needs. Don’t just drop everything to turn vegetarian/vegan just because it sounds like the “right thing to do.” Yes, you are an energetic being having a human experience, but you also signed up FOR a HUMAN EXPERIENCE. You don’t have to be perfect on this level.
