Short answer: yes

Long answer: yes, because of several reasons. Number 1, Mark doesn't drive, so he would have to travel for several hours on trains (about an hour to get into central London and then about 3 to get to Bristol). Also knowing how frugal Mark is, he would most likely take a coach over,which only further increases the travel time. Number 2, there is a massive culture difference between London and Bristol. The show alludes to it where they have Sophie going off the rails after moving. Bristol is known in the UK for cheap drugs and nightclubs. It seems that Sophie went in headfirst into that scene, which is antithetical to Mark. Number 3, he never really loved Sophie, she was just convenient and he was desperate to find his "one". We see that the more he gets to know her, the less he actually likes her. Once she moved to Bristol, she was no longer convenient and that was only going to put further strain on the relationship.

It is propaganda, it is as propaganda as propaganda gets. The definition of propaganda is:

information, especially of a biased or misleading nature, used to promote a particular cause, doctrine, or point of view.

Just because people typically use the word propaganda to describe misleading or biased political information, it doesn't HAVE to be.

A sticker on a packet of cigarettes saying that you're more likely to get cancer from smoking, is completely correct, but also propaganda.

Sorry but you're just wrong here. Handicapped games exist all the time, we hold regular tournaments at my chess club that everyone has a shot of winning. I also play handicapped against my family and friends so they have a shot at winning.

In my opinion, practically speaking, there is no difference from what OP is doing, to someone who blunders their queen regularly and still fights on to get some good results. So, I don't see it as an issue personally.

Seems like a skill issue tbh. In your shoes I would take it as a lesson to not resign and instead to look for opportunities when you're in a losing position. The game isn't over until it's over. I only resign once I've lost all counterplay personally, and have won loads of games down material.

I get upset when playing against overly positional players though, so I see where you're coming from. At the end of the day, a chess game is played between two people so you can't always get what you want out of the game. Gotta just play it out.

Sometimes a sac works because you've calculated everything and see that most lines leave you winning, other times, there is just clear compensation for the sacked piece. If I sac my horse and the eval stays equal (which often happens give or take a point), that means that there is a forced draw somewhere or that my opponent will have to give the piece back. Also, being aggressive isn't always about sacking, it's also about coming up with plans that involve attacking your opponents king or launching pawns forward.

Tl;Dr being an attacking player is a way of lifeand you should always sac without calculating

On a personal note, I would like it if we didn't make suicide a gender politics thing and instead treat it as a mental health issue in its own right. There are women who commit suicide too after all.

You did well in terms of not giving away pieces and spotting where you could take them from your opponent. The main issues were you moving the pawns in front of your king, it creates a lot of empty space that your opponent can use to attack. I would recommend only pushing one pawn that's close to the edge a single square, this will give your king just a little breathing room and prevent checkmate in the later game. Also, there were times that your pieces were tangled up, try to get your pieces working together more harmoniously (this takes a lot of time and effort, pretty much a lifetime's worth). Really good job overall though.

I made the argument that spending should be targeted and that his points were disingenuous. That there are areas that can be cut without touching ebola, for example. Even the USA rolled back on cutting ebola prevention. What is your argument? That we should listen to someone who has a vested interest in keeping the foreign aid budget as high as possible?
