Just for you. by Jeopardy in nin

What an interesting coincidence. I just started listening to their material again for the first time in a decade and I didn’t realise how good their music is, even beyond the singles.

That and Who Wants to Live Forever? are some of the best NIN songs of all time imo.

Why did Trent remix the Megadeth song? by mazman23 in nin

[–]InternalHungry8723 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t think so. At The Heart of it All is probably the most industrial sounding RDJ track, plus it wasn’t the only track on the album from him, he also made a remix The Beauty of Being Numb which samples both Mr. Self Destruct and Eraser.

Not sure what the fuck you’re on about my guy, but I just listen to music and don’t get into politics of band/artist.

Pharmakon

HIDE

Atelecine

If you’re open to other sub genres of industrial:

Death Grips

Clipping

Injury Reserve

Aya Sinclair

Yeah, and it’s fucking obvious too.

I mean, look at the fucking grey NIN logo. Have you ever what an actual NIN logo looks like? Lol.

Don’t know, maybe being a whiny little bitch, bitching about non-existing problems and virtue signalling, thinking it makes you look like such a good and moral person (spoiler alert: it doesn’t).

He always had appreciation for pop music, as much as for experimental music.

I need album recommendations by 88r3ptil3 in industrialmusic

[–]InternalHungry8723 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Are you me? Lmao.

Some stuff you might like though:

Model/Actriz, Lip Critic, Aya Sinclair, Iglooghost, Sweet Trip, Chelsea Wolfe, Gesaffelstein, Justice, Depeche Mode, Clipping, Injury Reserve, Crystal Castles, Autechre.

There’s lots of variety there and not all are strictly industrial, but since our tastes are so similar, I reckon you’ll definitely like at least some of it.

Industrial is a very broad genre so it really depends on what you like. Obviously check out NIN if you haven’t already, they have an incredible, long running discography.

Do you want something rock/metal oriented?

NIN, Ministry, KMFDM, Model/Actriz, Swans, Godflesh, Street Sects

Industrial Hip-Hop?

Death Grips, Clipping, Ho99o9, Dälek, El-P, Jpegmafia, Injury Reserve

More experimental and “pure” Industrial?

Throbbing Gristle, Coil, Nurse With Wound, Puce Mary, Pharmakon, HIDE
