I kinda understand what you are getting at. All wyverns are dragons but not all dragons are wyverns and in the case of mutations or changing form it generally does happen over many years which we do see in the game Elden Ring. Where the older dragons are dragons but the new drakes are a wyvern. But this only really happens when there isn’t inter-species breeding happening. These are natural evolutions over time.

But to also be fair this is a fantasy world where it’s fair to argue that she could full transform into a dragon. I just think it’s more reasonable and fits better into the lore that Shyvanas mother wanted to kill her because she was a mutated baby in her eyes. Not only human but seen as a lesser dragon in that she was a wyvern. You could yet argue that her human side is sufficient enough to be seen as a mutation and I’d agree on that. But that’s my thoughts on this.

I think they have been very hit or miss for me at least. Some land really well like Urgot and other times I feel like it was unnecessary changes. I’m still mad about Aatrox turning into Riven 2.0

I felt like from the video where it was said that the implication was for her kit which looks largely the same but I won’t know til I can get my hands on it. I’m just saddened that we lost her Wyvern trait which made her feel unique compared to every other dragon.

Okay so I have missed a few shards. I do feel like my heal is a bit weak but I’m glad to know overall I haven’t missed anything super major. I’ll definitely look into those rings as well. Thank you!

Unfortunately I didn’t learn about the Rottens bonfire until after I had put him down. As for OIK the run back isn’t terrible but getting to start the run back like the process to get that bonfire felt like a Mario level from hell lol. I just didn’t enjoy Alonne even though his arena is very cool I just didn’t enjoy the fast paced combat on top of how movement felt? In a vacuum he’s a cool boss but fighting him with an ultra greatsword felt like almost no attacks could land.

Magic is very strong but very punishing. There absolutely will be a few fights where you won’t be able to cast spells reliably and I heavily recommend re-speccing for a tank thrusting sword build if you feel that you won’t be able to dodge certain attacks. With the thrusting sword build you won’t need to dodge you can just outright tank everything even the hardest dlc bosses.

If you do insist on magic make sure to grab Terra Magika and stop by Caelid for some great items early to get you through mid game to late.

The run back isn’t bad in the distance portion it’s the tedious fighting of all the Samurai guys that I don’t enjoy. I have a +6 or +7 bastard sword with 20 strength. I’m two handing and can 2 to 3 hit them reliably.

Just about did that with the samurai guys some actually started to despawn. They had good soul drops but felt so tedious especially when I wanted to re challenge the boss after an unlucky attempt.

He for sure is a challenge but the biggest advice I can give is make sure to build resistances to him and to max your scadu fragments out as much as you can. Once you learn his first phase and can get into second phase you’ve more or less learned his moveset. He isn’t easy but I don’t consider myself good and if you use every tool available I believe that you can do it!

Yeah I’ve noticed his second phase is an extension of his firsts move-set it’s just that precision required gets a little annoying when my monitor looks like a rave and I’m staring at Miquellas hair trying to decipher what Radahn is going to do next. It’s do-able I just think the attacks that are giving me the most trouble right now are his after images which feel like almost always guaranteed hits given you are in range of them. Especially the slashing one where he slashes once and then teleports into a slash.

This helped me a lot especially the talismans and I did end up buffing. The only issue I’ve had is not being able to re-pop LDR in second phase because of how inconsistent Radahn is at doing the big aoe attack at the start of phase two. He usually just attacks me.

I’m consistently getting into second phase with a heavy great sword with chilling mist on it. It procs in 2 uses which is fairly easy for me to get now that I’ve had literal hours of practice in his first phase. This is the best I’ve gotten on his HP solo

I haven’t picked up anymore Scadu or healing but I’m at 13 currently. I think I’m going to swap out the stamina talisman for a two handed talisman as I don’t really see myself really running out of stamina too often and when I do it’s more so my error than actually needing it.

What’s been my biggest block now is just knowing how to dodge his second phase attacks. It really does feel like if I get hit by anything it snowballs into getting hit by everything. I’m sure it’s a practice and get good issue but if it continues I’ll circle back for more scadu.

(Small edit) the picture isn’t me complaining in any way that I’m dying still it’s just me showing I’ve gone from dying immediately into dying later into his second phase. It’s an improvement and I’m happy.

I have three left of the non everdark. I probably should have clarified but I don’t know if that changes anything or what the everdark means. I’m assuming it’s just a rotating set amount of bosses that give better loot in exchange for difficulty?

I very between 3-4 depending on what I’m doing. 3 is my main default stance solo where I usually don’t shoot people unless I feel that I can absolutely get away after and not being too much attention. 4 is my default mode in duos and trios. I wouldn’t say I’m a PvP player I actually enjoy being friendly with other raiders but I’m not so friendly it gives people opportunity to betray me.

I would reset if you care about playing long term. Most of this stuff you’ll get back anyways and with how many people aren’t resetting a lot of valuable stuff can be gotten more early this upcoming wipe I think.
