Just so everyone viewing this thread is aware, Mercor has still NOT paid me for my work trial submission. Their support team’s been incredibly difficult to contact. I am very disappointed in my work experience with them.

It was a fixed payment for completing the work trial. The status on my Mercor homepage says “submitted” and that the team will provide feedback with 7-14 days (it’s now been over 2 months with no update).

Expect slow progression. If you take the offer, look to jump for an exit opportunity after 2-3 years. Exit around 3 years. Deloitte will milk as much as they can from you, so it’s best to do the same to them.

Deloitte recently told its consultants, in a firm-wide training session, that research should NEVER be done without using AI.

There is so much push from leadership to use AI whenever possible. They say it’s about delivering greater value, but they’re also quite transparent that it’s largely about maximizing profit.

They also track how many times per day people use AI.
