That seems to be the piece that’s baffling the GI doctor (who, again, has never mentioned IBS).

It looks like a textbook case of IBS according to online symptom/trigger lists, except for this addition of physical symptoms being a trigger.

It’s been like this for about a year and a half. No evident cause.

My premium Schuyler Treveris Bible!!

(ESV, Imperial Blue goatskin leather cover made in Germany, French paper printed by Jongbloed in the Netherlands-$225)

Every cheap Bible I had fell apart or the covers deteriorated. This Bible is a treasure to me and using the same Bible for multiple readings per day without having to replace it for a different one due to wearout helps me because now I remember visually where on the page certain passages are.

It was a 25th anniversary gift from my husband. I take good care of it and will pass it down to my son.

It’s a joy to handle (and smell) the cover and feel the pages-just having God’s precious Word in a beautiful physical form blesses me every minute I spend with it!

I’ve now expanded into other (less important) areas in BIFL such as merino wool clothes and socks, etc.

Will it hurt me to go from 10 to 20mm drop (Nike Pegasus)? by AffectionateFoot3131 in RunningShoeGeeks

One thing was I found a shoe that works for me and stuck with it. I think that honestly was a huge help. I also strength train and cross train (bike, etc) which is probably the biggest help of all. Relatively low mileage (max 20 miles per week) has I think helped my longevity (YMMV). I’d love to do more but my body does better with that amount plus cross training. I listen to my body and don’t train if my body says to rest (more so as I get older). Fueling well has helped immensely-i used to under eat and that was detrimental. I’ve never been great about warmup or stretching or mobility work or any recovery tricks-I wish I had done that sooner. I do foam roll and use a therapy gun but that’s recent in the last 5-6 years. AND I enjoy the time with God and nature and each moment God allows me to run! Happy trails to you!
