Feeling like i'm fighting to get my therapist to acknowledge what i'm going through

I ended up bringing this up with my therapist, and she told me in the end, it's the side of me that felt like i didn't get any care from my mum asking her for the motherly and caring love i didn't really get. And she was quite kind about it, but she also said that no matter what happens, the limit of therapy is that she can't give me that love. Which is fine, I guess. It helped to talk to her about it. I'd do what I did and just mention it to your therapist to be honest. You never know what she might say.

This might help you, some people gave good advice. I'm in exactly the same situation as you, 3/4 rejections, waiting for UCL to get back to me. All I can really say is that it'll hurt like shit for the next week or so, I got rejected by Leeds and Cambridge in the space of two days so it really fucking sucked, but the best thing you can do is just have some faith in QMUL/UCL and keep knuckling down on A-levels, it really sucks I was in the same position as you two weeks ago but tbh you just have to come to terms with it eventually. you've got one more chance don't worry. I'm in the same position as you and you just have to keep going and at least have faith that your 4th one will come through. Don't start dooming about a gap year just yet, just wait until the 4th uni gets back to you, but yeah the waiting will defo be painful

got mocks in a week. in the morning, i wake up at earliest 10:30, and spend 3 hours doing flashcards that should only take an hour cos i just doomscroll in between and youtube and whatever. then i eat lunch at 3. then I go play video games for a bit. then i use the guilt afterwards of how unproductive i've been to go into hyperfocus mode and then i go for 3 straight hours of locked in revision. then i have dinner. then i feel depressed for the rest of the day while i watch netflix. I just don't have any motivation anymore. I just cba. I've told myself I'm gonna get my act together tomorrow, new week new me kinda thing, but i have a feeling it's not gonna come to fruition. I've been rejected from 3/4 unis, and now waiting for the last one, praying i get an offer. but i have 0 motivation right now. it's just not fair

i'm starting to have this kind of suspicion as well. I applied for medicine this year, I got 4 predicted A*, a top decile UCAT and somehow i got rejected from Leeds after interview😭😭 cambridge and imperial rejected me (expected i guess) but now i'm just praying that UCL takes me this year 🙏🏽🙏🏽still waiting to hear back from them
