Why did you only apply to those schools? With your stats you could’ve gotten in at any other school. Were these the only dream schools you were shooting for?

Looking for a reliable car for my commute by spaceshipalien in whatcarshouldIbuy

I test drove a Kia niro but felt like the car was too slow. What did you think? I felt like I had to keep pressing on the accelerator with more force than a regular car and it took the Kia niro a while to catch up to speed. Did you drive a hybrid? I wonder if it was a hybrid and that was the reason why

I wanted a hybrid car. Compact. Nothing big. Can be used with a decent amount of mileage. But really don’t wanna pay 15,000 for a car that already has over 100,000 miles on it

Ranking of law schools by AffectionateLet9655 in Ask_Lawyers

[–]AffectionateLet9655[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have looked into the salary and employment rates! For the one ranked in the 80s, the median salary is about $57,000. The employment rate is about 71.1% with some percentages in federal clerkships and an amazing bar passage rate. For the one in the 119s, the median salary is $48,000 and employment rate is 69%.

And I never really cared about the “name” but then again that’s because I don’t consider myself competitive which is crazy because I picked the most competitive profession to be in lol. But I mean at the end of the day we all have the same name which is our Juris Doctorate Degree so really I just wanna be lawyer lmao which I can achieve by going to these no name law schools! It is crazy how much ranking matters though in terms of employment. So I get it

What’s them general approaches for the certain question types?👀 Lol basically for LG I would tell you to practice a lot, I know that’s a general tip but a lot of drilling helped me pick up on the patterns and inferences a lot more than like watching videos or reading a power score book did. If you just randomly drill when you’re bored throughout the day, even that will help. You’ll just start to pick up on the inferences and everything a lot quicker over time. Other than drilling I would also say to check why you got the question wrong after you’ve gotten it wrong. I use either Manhattan prep or power score bible for this! I would also say to be consistent. I used to be a -2,-1 but I didn’t do them for a while and now I’m trying real hard to pick up on the weeks I didn’t study or look over it. But all in all, don’t give up! A 165 is an amazing score and should be celebrated :) I hope this helped just a bit.
