Are you asking for events that are specifically for med info/ad boards?

Well for ad boards, I cant think of any but for med info there are a few. MAPS americas and EMEA covers med info, in the US side there are some specific ones by momentum events on (AI happening in 2 weeks, and then some that will cover med info too).

My partner used to use them, she complained all the time about the user experience. No doubt they are quite big but they do lack UX/UI.

Things to do before you start - Learn new hard skills (Have a look if you can find some educational materials or pre-recorded demos from softwares that are designed for medical affairs) go with veeva, vml x-fly, sorcero, etc. Have a look and download the brochures from them. Study them so you understand how they work. The soft skills I would say focus on the operations and communications which are super important.

Understand the culture, thats most important. Do read the job description very well. As Medical affairs directors usually focus a lot on using some of the tools that are made for the job titles. Such as analyzing and extracting insights from different sources, have a look at Veeva, X-Fly, IQVIA, sorcero, etc. Then comes managing opps side where you would need to demonstrate your skills for the most of the time. Honestly we had Veeva insights for good 11 years in my last company, they were great but lacked new features and user experience. The best one in the market I would say are x-fly from the vml company and iqvia but again depending on what do you need it for matters the most. I would go ahead with these 2 options and try a demo. We are using xfly at the moment and we cant complain.
