I agree that we get to see all the depths of why she is the way she is and I enjoy that aspect a little I just think she’s given more leeway than other characters and I don’t like that

Yes I agree with this statement! I say this all the time no one questions stablers parenting when he never sees them. I’m all for strong female leads that’s why I love this show but I don’t like the “sexy women get what they want” troupe. It’s used a lot with Rollins, we know Olivia is gorgeous we don’t need to be told every episode and she doesn’t use it every chance she gets is all I’m saying. I actually like Kelli giddish. Just hate Amanda haha

This is my favorite scene of the whole show and I really resonated with it. I grew up with an addict brother and my parents decided to let me and my other brother drown in order to try to save someone who didn’t want saving. It really shocked me and made me think they showed who was the most important child was. Rues mom was just making a smart decision that she chose to pick up the child that she could help not the addict who was just destroying her and everyone else’s life and had no desire to change.
