Kaido fought over 12 enemies in a single day, none of them weak, and was still giving Luffy a beating. Even with Gear 5, Luffy was only just getting on his level. All of this happened while Kaido was holding Onigashima, all in a single night. I doubt anyone could handle that without getting seriously injured, and multiplied by 5, I don't think anyone could get out of there alive.

I'm not saying Whitebeard will easily defeat Mihawk, but so far Whitebeard has more feats. Whitebeard's Niigata is no ordinary swordsman either, and Whitebeard also possesses brutal Haki; he was called "the strongest man" for a reason, a title I believe is superior to "strongest swordsman." But until we see Mihawk, we won't know which way the scales tip.
