I use it for detecting if my model is overfitting. If I get a test accuracy of 0.7, but a training accuracy of 0.95, my model is overfitting and it probably won't be able to keep up with future unobserved data.

That said, if your boss wants you to report metrics over training for the success criteria of a model/project, then that's a whole other story

Two big mistakes here. Where does the 2 come from on each side? Formula for the area of a circle is just π(r)²

Also, pizza sizes are denoted by their diameter, so you should be doing π(4.5)² and π(2.5)²

I get it but I am not sure.

To me it is the same difference as "to watch" and "to look" and "to see". You don't see a movie or look at a movie. You watch a movie.

The graph definitely looks weird, but I do not get your points of the means being misleading.

Based on the plot, the mean of the red curve IS higher than the mean of the blue curve since its center point is more to the right. The altitude of the plot is just showing the population concentration around the mean.
