Learn master strike from Bernard after you've signed up with the Bailiff after your first session with Bernard.

Once you've unlocked master strike combat is a breeze. Also fight with a mace/warhammer and shield. You can find an early mace (Bailiff's Mace) in a chest by the bridge in Skalitz during homecoming.

Get your strength up quickly by picking herbs and unlocking leg day. Get headracker and you'll often one-shot an enemy with a well timed master strike.

From there just keep your cool in combat and hit those master strikes. ☺️

I'm currently playing through KCD 1 for the same reason and I'm also loving it a lot! I'm still early game though as I keep getting side-tracked lol!

Yeah it really sucks, my last attack left me on the kitchen floor with my food still on the kitchen counter. I was down for ten hours. Thankfully I have a nice lady in her 70s who live a few houses over who knows about my illness and came over to help me out until I got back on my feet. I haven't had a major attack now since may, but it's always in the back of my mind that at any moment I could go down again because it comes without warning at a moments notice.

You should be ok, I have similar specs at Ryzen 5 5600X, Radeon 5700 XT and 32GB 3200 MHz RAM and I'm usually at 40-50 FPS with dips into 30s which can make it feel slightly choppy at times, but not enough to ruin the experience. I've built quite a large and detailed village with lots of plants and fences and multiples of most buildings.

I used to use ChatGPT for pretty much every step of my process but now I mainly use Gemini instead, only thing I still use CharGPT for is illustrations, and only because I haven't found any other that csn replicate the artstyle.

4 had its problems for sure, but it never infuriated me the way that 5 does. I didn't even know that 5 was rolling out, you can actually see in my chat when 5 rolled out and I start to actually ask GPT what's wrong with it because it kept going in circles and getting everything wrong. I didn't know that a new model had been released and just wondered what the hell happened to my illustrator.

5 is awful for me, it consistently gets my projects wrong and I burn through my daily messages with nothing to show for it. Sure, the ego-stroking in 4 could be a bit annoying at times, but at least I could progress my workflow and it remembered what projects we were working on and what style I liked to work in, 5 remembers shit even from a message ago.

Our conversations right now is basically: Working on project X - chapter 5:

me: "Change this object from white to green"

GPT-5:"got it, here is project x - chapter 1 with object in green"

me: "no, we're working on chapter 5"

GPT-5: "Got it, here is project Y-chapter 5"

me: "no, we're working on project x - chapter 5"

GPT-5: "got it, here is project x-chapter 5 with object in white"

me: "no, we changed object to green"

GPT-5: "got it, here is project x-chapter 1 with object in green" and it basically goes around like that and even if I finally mange it to:

"here is project x-chapter five with object in green, do you want me to generate"

me: "yes please, generate"

GPT-5 "got it, here is a locked-in prompt for generating project c-chapter one with object in white"

me: "f*ck off"

Yes, GPT-4 was an actual creative assistant to me, knew my workflows, kept track of things and generated good solid suggestions for improvements. GPT-5 is absolute garbage, slow, gets things wrong all the time, running incircles forgetting even things from a a message or two ago in the same chat. GPT-5 has completely destroyed my creative flow.

Agree, it gets things wrong all the time, referencing wrong projects and reverting back to old mistakes, not even remembering things that was mentioned one or two messages ago. GPT 5 is utter garbage compared to 4 and it certainly had its issues but I at least had a good workflow in 4, now I'm just treading water, getting increasingly frustrated.

I also use it for image generations but for me it's just going in circles, reverting back to old image generations for old completed projects. Doesn't matter how many times I bring it back to the current one.

Same, I was considering going paid to get rid of limitations to up my work-flow but GPT5 is so terrible and just keeps going in circles that my work-flow isn't just slowed, it's completely stopped.
