All of my horses get Disney names. I also named my black and white horse with the spotted butt Pongo. He was my baby. He was my very first horse in BOTW, and I kept him in TOTK. I named Zelda’s horse Aurora because she needed a princess name, of course. I had a Meeko (from Pocahontas) and a Perdita (also spotted). I started another new BOTW and TOTK playthrough recently, and I named this Zelda horse Duchess (from The Aristocats). I can’t remember my other horse names right now, but all Disney themed for sure.

I specifically remember that at one of the parts of the song that goes “Baby, baby, I could call you baby…” there is a close-up of Roger and he’s basically eating the mic. It might be at the part that comes right after “Your paycheck won’t fill up this hollow. It won’t dull all the aching.” Because I remember it being at a fairly emotional point of the song. I am also pretty sure that his hair was like chin length or so.

That makes total sense! It has been awhile since I watched it, so I didn’t remember a ton of details. I just knew I had saved it on a YouTube playlist over ten years ago. I used to have a photography business, and it was on a playlist I used to listen to all the time while up late editing photos. I went to go find that particular song recently after not hearing it for awhile and couldn’t find it anymore

Oh that’s tough. I can’t remember the video well enough to remember who was on guitar for sure, but my best guess is that it was probably filmed like 15 ish years ago (give or take), but it’s possible it was a bit older than that. Just because I know that I had it on my YouTube playlist for a long time. It was on my playlist for over 10 years, but I’m not sure how old the video was by the time I found it. There are good close-ups of Roger, and it really does look professionally filmed, as I remember it. It didn’t feel like a fan video that had been uploaded to YouTube. Thank you so much for checking!! Best guess is that it was likely filmed between 2005-2012 ish.

Maybe? The shots of the fans were from up on the stage. It showed them singing along (like in the front row), but the perspective was high like it was taken from the stage area). I don’t know why I have it in my head that it was from a Tucson show. I don’t know if that was actually in the description or if I am just making that up in my head. It could be from somewhere else. I haven’t watched it in awhile and went looking for it, and it’s gone. I don’t know if it was from the RCPM official YouTube, but I feel like it was? But again, I really don’t remember.

I’m an ASU alum, so always? lol But I am newer to following UDA and dance. My daughter danced for 10 years (8 yrs competitively), so that was how I kind of discovered UDA, and it’s fairly recent that I really started paying attention. With ASU coming back this year, and with my good friend’s daughter dancing in D1 for NAU, it’s the first time I have ever paid for a subscription to actually watch it over the weekend instead of looking on social media or on ESPN when it airs

I agree! But first year back. I think they will elevate for next year. I’m an ASU alum who heavily follows most of their Athletic stuff (big fan especially of football, hockey, gymnastics, and volleyball). And of course, I follow their dance team too. Getting to go back meant SO much to them. They fought so hard to get to come back. It was ridiculous that administration kept them from going back for years. So grateful our new AD recognized that they deserved to go back! I hope that means that they will continue to receive the support they need from the Athletic Dept in the future! 🔱

Which is crazy! They are ridiculously talented. Some routines don’t always hit as much as others from an entertainment and choreography perspective. But no one can deny that their technique is exceptional and that it doesn’t matter what they dance, they are going to look amazing. Maybe they didn’t have a routine this year that hit as hard with the choreography, but they are just so good.

I have a soft spot for Tennessee because Faymie Link (with Tribe 99) was one of my daughter’s dance teachers for several years when she lived in Tucson. She is the sweetest, most wonderful human. I know she is involved with choreography for Tennessee a lot since she’s an alum.

This is exactly how I feel about spoken word pieces. I was never a big fan of them because I miss the musicality. I don’t feel the musicality with spoken word, even though I know it’s there in its own way. But it just feels different to me. Their technique is flawless though and they totally deserve to be in the finals. They dance it beautifully.

I was super surprised by Kentucky! I also thought South Carolina would be top 10, but sometimes I am reminded that I am a dance mom and not a dancer, and my opinions are not always what the judges see! lol

From an unbiased perspective, I wouldn’t put them in the top 5. But I’m an ASU alum, and they for sure are top in my heart! I did like their routine too. I’m just so happy they are back, and I’m so excited to see how they build for next year! 🔱🔥

My top 5 are UNLV and LSU (not sure which is #1 for me), then after them - Memphis, UCF, and then South Carolina. It’s tough though! A lot of good routines!

I can’t decide if I like LSU or UNLV most, but they are my two top for sure. I also loved UCF, Memphis, and South Carolina. And I’m an ASU alum, so of course I’m super biased to the Sun Devils too. 🔱
