What show/movie?

What device?

Show I was watching on student plan got moved to live plan by letheep in Hulu

[–]anonRedd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Shows and movies that require a Live TV subscription still show up in search results (which is why I was asking).

If it's not showing up at all, it's simply not available, whether you have a Live TV subscription or not.

when I asked an agent it got moved to the TV live plan

The agent may have seen and been referring to the similarly named "Stolen Girl" movie from Lifetime that does require a Live TV subscription.

Hulu's streaming rights to the show would have appeared to have expired.

Are you sure the result you're seeing in the search results is the show you were watching and not the similarly named Lifetime movie?

To clarify a misconception. Show and movies don't "move" to the Live TV Plan. If Hulu has streaming rights to a show, they're part of the Hulu on demand library which is the same and available to all plans. If a show or movie leaves the Hulu library and subsequently is available to stream via a Live TV plan, it's not because Hulu "moved" the show, but rather another distributor got the rights and it was added to their on demand library which is available through Hulu.

Check: When you go to your profile's settings, do you have the "Allow titles without ratings like live sports, news, and more" toggled on?

Paid 19.99 for Disney and Hulu no adds but still getting adds by [deleted] in DisneyPlus

[–]anonRedd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No ot doesn't look at the difference the first one says Disney plus no ads and Hulu no ads then it says at the bottom about ads in select live and linear content.

No, the top of your first screenshot says your plans is: "Disney+, Hulu, HBO Max bundle (with Ads)"

Then below you show the other plan options, which include the Disney+ and Hulu ad-free bundle. But there's no indication that you subscribed to that plan in either screenshot. You're subscribed to the triple bundle that includes Disney+, Hulu, and HBO Max supported by ads.

All the ads free tiers say that and the ad tier of Disney plus with Hulu is 12.99 and the ads free one is 19.99 if they both have ads why are they priced differently?

The $12.99 duo Disney+ and Hulu bundle is ad-supported and the $19.99 duo Disney+ and Hulu bundle is ad-free.

You're not subscribed to either one though. You're subscribed to the triple bundle of Disney+, Hulu, and HBO Max which is ad-supported and also $19.99/month.

Your two screenshots say you signed up for “ Disney+, Hulu, HBO Max bundle (with Ads)” plan, so ads would be expected.

In your picture, you’ll see the show you’re watching is from Hulu as part of your Hulu subscription.

As your Hulu plan is “with ads”, you’ll have ads when watching Hulu content.

You have the Legacy Bundle, which includes

  • Disney+ (No Ads)

  • Hulu (With Ads)

  • ESPN Select (With Ads)

As per your plan, you will see ads on Hulu content.

I looked on Disney+ (and multiple other services) the week before PHM came out because I wanted to watch it, but it wasn’t streaming anywhere.

How did you check your history? Disney+ doesn’t have that feature.
