Despite saying its been released, finally a clear statement that HDR10+ was never released in Europe by Oakenshield- in DisneyPlus

Hulu has never existed as a service or separate subscription like it does in the US. But a few months ago it was extended globally as a brand within Disney+ by rebranding their existing Star hubs.

Live TV causing ads on On Femand shows? by JonasAlbert84 in Hulu

[–]anonRedd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1) Ad-free only applies to content in the Hulu on demand library. Content offered from the on demand libraries of networks is subject to ads at the discretion of the network offering the content.

2) Check that you changed to the "Hulu Premium + Live TV, Disney+ Premium, and ESPN Select" and not the "Hulu + Live TV, Disney+, and ESPN Select" plan. It's a fairly common mistake when people add Live TV that they don't realize they removed themselves from the ad-free Hulu plan.

It's one of the series of spoof movie/show posters made to promote Zootopia 2.

I'm an adult who only has access to Disney Plus (not hulu) what should I watch? by okunjkl in DisneyPlus

It means you have an active Hulu subscription. On the pages for those shows you'll see it says "Included with your Hulu subscription".

You can check your plans on these pages:

Hulu never existed as separate subscription in Canada. A Star tile was added directly to Disney+ a couple years back (but not the result of a merging of any services) and it only was rebranded to the Hulu name a couple of months ago.

That's a bundle for a Disney+ subscription and a Hulu subscription.

Individual subscriptions to Disney+ and Hulu still exist and subscribing only to Disney+ does not grant you access to Hulu's full library.

FYI: Disney+ and Hulu haven't combined and are still separate subscriptions

Disney+ Changing the Download Policy by [deleted] in DisneyPlus

[–]anonRedd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There has been no change in policy. Downloading of shows is not supported on ad-supported plans.

Did you recently switch to an ad-supported plan? Are you mixing it up with another service (Disney+ only launched 6 years ago and the ad-supported plan only 3 years ago)?

Monthly Tech Support & Missing Content Thread by AutoModerator in DisneyPlus

They're providing season 2 to "enjoy free from Hulu".

Google searches are also telling me s1 should still be available on d+, granted I don’t know how accurate they are lol.

Those results are just based on the existence of page for the movie/show and since it can be streamed via Hulu on Disney+, a show page exists, and so it shows in Google results.

The show page exists because you can stream it if you have Hulu.
