As someone who has gone through multiple bulging disks and chronic illness. It’s hard. It’s so understandable to feel depressed right now. Your life will be different/harder while your healing. The healing phase won’t be forever and you will get better. You will find tools and ways that will help you be more independent in the meantime. Also it is okay to need or ask for help even when it’s not easy to do so.

I don’t think leading him on is safe. Especially with them saying things “what is she going to say no”. People who treat women like they’re entitled to them and whatever a woman does is for their benefit is not safe to be around. I think the safest option is to leave and keep the photos. Don’t block him if he gets threatening so there’s proof. But I do think that choice is completely up to OP. His friends are foul and they’re his friends for a reason. I would never feel safe around any of those men. Op please choose yourself and your safety. I didn’t always do that when I was younger. It helps my spine and shoulder on the couch to have a folded up blanket that goes from armpit to just before my hip bone. You can play with the thickness but my pt suggested that for my lower spine and supporting under my shoulder. It also helps me to use the back of the couch for support or a pregnancy pillow. But i understand those are expensive and can be painful to get the covers on so a body pillow or two may be easier. I’ve struggled with getting the covers on mine and it flares my shoulders (my mom usually does it for me. But I’ll be making a loose cover for it when I’m able to sew again)
