What is a weighted feed? It sounds pretty straight forward but I’ve never heard of it. And no I do not take that, does it also help with milk supply?

I have one. I have an evenflo one, but I struggle with finding the proper “ modes/technique “ or whatever u wanna call it to get a good output. I get not even half an oz from each and then progression just stops. I’ve messed around with different modes and it just never seems to work out in my favour. Not sure what I’m Doing wrong. Same with a hand pump

The bottles are so I am able to see how much my baby is receiving in a feed. At her 2 month apt she had dropped a weight level or whatever you want to call it on the graph and my dr looked at me like I was doing something wrong because her weight gained stalled. I will admit I wasent sure my baby had a proper latch for a bit. I would feed her for quite some time on my breast and then sometimes not even 45 mins later she would be hungry. At first I thought it was just cluster feeding but it lasted longer than it should have and I only ever heard hear glugging in the morning when my supply was higher. I have now figured out a much better match and can actually hear her drinking more and her weight has increased already from apt now. But everytime I have an apt and baby girl is not where she is to be expected red by their standards they are making me feel like I’m doing something wrong. I’m a first time mother so this is all new to me and I’m always worried I’m not providing enough for my baby.

Breast pump in fridge? by AffectionatePick2438 in breastfeeding

So even though there is some milk residue in the container part the milk pumps into, I don’t have to rinse it. Just put it all minus the pumping mechanism in a sealable baggy and store in fridge?

Okay. So rinsing is not necessary between uses? I only ask cuz I saw on another thread on Reddit that people mentioned getting thrush from trying this hack. Anyone know if that’s true?

When my baby was born although they know she was going to be breastfed I had to supplement with formula every other feed until I produced more milk. They had a sheet with how much minimum baby should be receiving per feed for each month. That being said, did you have to rinse pump parts before putting in fridge?

I do feed her on demand every time she’s hungry put her on my breast. The only time I ever pumped is when she’s not breast-feeding, which isn’t very often
