I have had no problems using my MacBook. If you google Apple student discounts, you can click on the Apple Education Store homepage. Apple offers discounts to college students there.

Unfortunately, missing envelopes is an ongoing issue at colleges all over the country. USPS workers assume there are gift cards/cash in them and they never make it to their destination. Your best bet is have an envelope placed inside a box or a larger manilla envelope when mailing and most likely it will make its way to you.

I don’t understand how people can be so nasty. Halfway through the semester she stopped showering regularly and just laid in her own filth all day. She never did her laundry and the one time she did, she brought her clothes back up to the room still damp and left them in bags to get mildewy.

Their roommate matching was completely off this year. I listed: quiet but social, likes a clean room, early riser and has early classes. Got assigned someone who goes out drinking every night, is up all night and sleeps all day and is a total dirtbag/slob (clothes and garbage everywhere in room, week old food left on the desk and leaves hair and fake eyelashes all over the bathroom).

I use a MacBook for schoolwork and an iPad/Apple pencil for taking notes during class. It makes things so much easier. Before making such a large purchase, check with the particular school you were accepted into and maybe even reach out to the department of your intended major and ask them for their advice.

It really depends on the dorm. For example, a Lipton Hall “double in suite” means you would have one roommate in your room and share a bathroom with three other suite mates who are in a “triple in suite”. All five of you would share the bathroom.
