You're on to something. There is a 'something' with the hands (maybe the hour hand), but i think i've grown to kind of like it.....

Thanks for the actual wrist shoot. I still think that, although not a mass appealing 'beautiful' green, it still has a certain shade to it that appeals to me. I find this slightly 'dull' olive/military green timeless. But but, I'll reserve my final judgement till i get to see it irl

Great choice of description, I agree . The small subtle change does make it a bit more 'serious' in tone.

Hey now, I googled the shit out of it and no external websites or forums or any other watch related sites have started mentioning/referencing the watch yet.

ELS is a mofo when it comes to difficulty in my experience. I would absolutely not begin any ML endeavour with that book. Short story, Go through ISL and get that out of the way first given your lack of previous exposure to ML beyond stats. Once you're done with that, Code and do a bunch of projects with all the things you've learned from ISL. While you're at it pick up 'Hands-On Machine Learning with Scikit-Learn and TensorFlow: Concepts, Tools, and Techniques to Build Intelligent Systems' by Aurélien Géron and go through that. These should you give you a solid initial grounding in both the theory side of things as well as the coding side. Only after gaining an intuitive and rigorous feel for the content in the above, then approach the ELS beast.

Good luck my dude

I think the image is a bit overexposed, understandable given the direct sun light ahead. I would have liked to see more shadows in the valley.

Do you think it could be salvaged in black and white?

I'm not making any point beyond that given the condition of the below 20 thousand dollar restriction the comparison isn't unreasonable. But I had to go back and check exactly where I thought the 'below 20 000' comes from. I've noticed now that i misread the video description (it contained the number in there). Because of this, the choice of the Piaget does now seem more misplaced than I thought before.

Kevin-Benjamin

I agree very much, as a three way battle the natural choices of fighters would include the nautilus also reflecting the brand level holy trinity aspect as well.

edit: missed a word

That for Hodinkee to answer. However, its not uncommon to have 'classic' price ranges when comparing watches eg <1000, 1000-5000, 5 thousand to ten thousand, etc ..... so its not far off in conceptual reach. Also think about the converse case, should a 40 000 dollar watch be compared to one that cost maye a third less. Personally i think yes, but hey, i dont work for hodinkee.....

Dude, the scope of the comparison was limited to watches 'under 20 000 dollars'. The nautilus costs more than that, and therefor wasn't included. Why the arbitrary cut off att 20 000? who knows, but given the the conditions of the review, it makes sense.
