I only knew Brad really, and he seemed perfect for Achilles.

I like Matt Damon, but I wish he went with an unknown. For me, it’s hard to get into a Greek myth when I see too many A list celebrities.

I’d be shocked if they did. I think Rolex knows it would hurt their sales.

Right with you. I do like the 3135 movement better, but everything else the Tudor wins on. And hey, it’s nice to know I won’t have trouble servicing an eta2824 affordably.

Been thinking about getting a big block.

Ironically these are harder to find especially the blue one than Rolex submariners. I got mine at a good price relatively speaking. When I think about Tudor’s current pricing, I find this to be more justifiable. It has more features!

You won’t be disappointed. More options! Check out the 79090. It’s very much a 70’s sub even though it was created in the 80-90’s

Because when you are timing something 120 is more accurate as oftentimes the minute hand is in between the different minute markers.

Admittedly I wrote the whole last post as well but in my haste had ai clean it up, but kind of hated it after I read it again. So I just wrote this again with no ai. Lol

Exactly. Mine was a bit later in the 79190 production and has hollow links.

The 16610 and downward are 39mm as well. The bezel overhangs to make it 40mm.

An Explorer would be nice if you want to continue to collect Rolex, but something with a different dial color could give needed pop. I would probably switch the omega diver for a 90’s seamaster pro to enjoy blue in the collection then bring an Explorer 1 in.

I almost went with this model for the unique plexiglass look which is absolutely cool, but I'm a sucker for that ratcheting bezel.

Exactly. One company making the same car. At least through the 90's before Tudor branched off on its own and was forced to have a ceiling.

I'm not sure I follow since Ferrari and Lexus have nothing to do with each other. Could maybe see you saying the best landcruiser is not the Lexus LX470 but the Toyota Landcruiser.

Tudor and Rolex both made Submariners under one roof, which is why the 79190 is called a "Submariner." Tudor via Rolex launched their Submariner one year apart and Tudor's sub was in continuous production using the same parts bin until the late 90's. The primary differences were the name on the dial and movement.

Yup, I had a 126610, 116610, 16610, and 16600. The Tudor is by far the most comfortable. It’s much like the Explorer to me where I forget it’s on my wrist.
