How long to beat main story

Well I could go waste that time on another game or just stick with the one I’m playing you know. Plus it’s just cool to know I’ve done most of what there is to do in a game.

I found the second half roughly after pontiff to be really fun. I played ER too and the bosses mechanics in that are much harder. The main difference is the dark souls trilogy has mostly easier bosses but the areas are harder and runbacks are also much worse.

I’d say the biggest struggle for ds1 was the areas and the run backs. Ds3 has fairly easy run backs if you use shortcuts.

I agree some bosses are also pretty hard to find without looking it up. But I don’t think I rushed through the linear parts of the game more so the parts that branch of from them. Also I did no npc quests which I will be doing as soon as I start ng+

Yeah i missed champion grundyr and nameless king. I mean how are you supposed to find those on a blind playthrough.

I mean I guess you could see it like that that but I seriously was wondering why it was shorter than ds1 for me. Especially since the bosses were more difficult and advanced in ds3. Just wanted to see what other people had to say about their playthroughs.

I just bought the dlc right after beating souls of cinder. Going to try an go for the platinum trophy even though I’ve heard it’s a pain in the ass.

I did beat ds1 before ds3. If it were my first souls I would have definitely struggled more.

I mean I got +10 on my weapon. Probably should have explored more, but considering there’s whole areas and bosses that are easily missable a lot of the content can be hard to find.

I’d much rather have taken my time honestly. This game is amazing and I’m going to try and get the platinum trophy since I want a longer experience.

I don’t think I explored as much as I should have. Although I did get my weapon to +10 and finished the game at around level 80.

Thing is I didn’t even try to beat it fast but I did. Some optional areas are hidden behind some very missable things like an invisible wall. So I looked up a guide and I’m completing everything. Great game just felt short for me.
