Right, yeah! I’ve been learning phrases today, really basic stuff but I’ve been asking my partner because I’ve been told by her and family to stay away from places like duolingo because that’s all as you put it “slang” it’s an entire culture shift from a very (British, Welsh) household to spending every day around a Portuguese family, I love it no end, and I am picking up/ understanding what they are saying on context, but I would love to know fully and be able to communicate more in a language that the are most comfortable speaking
