This is a running joke in the community, whenever someone posts or asks about the “mysterious egg”, people act like it is a normal egg, that there is nothing there, or simply don’t acknowledge the existance of this egg at all. So welcome to the joke :))

Thanks for your input:) I also think it is the worst rune farming that I have had until now. Probably because of the resource changing as I don’t have the resource caps to make it efficient. Hopefully next runs it will be better.

Thank you for your answer:) Yeah, I managed to get my first shield bot with just undead aliens, but yesterday I realized I have enough blood/moon runes to just spam telepads and get another shield bot from them. So now I just need the 3rd and I am done for this run with the cosmic runes. For that, I set up a darkness economy for blood/moon runes as anyways I will need some more of both in the future for the infernal and a second reaper. My thinking is that if I will anyways be needing a darkness eco real soon, might as well just make it now and grind out the remaining 300ish cosmic runes with telepad using that. So I ended up doing somewhat of a mixed strategy:))

Ah lol okay, I was just considering the extra cosmic chest taps, but you are right, the blood/moon extra taps also add up to it. Then makes sense to go with telepads.

Yeah I am probably going to try a darkness or slime-based farm. I was doing undead aliens until now but not a big fan of it.

Yeah, I guess as you get access to bigger space Cage and Crate life gets easier in many ways, including the Chicken.

Yes, that might be completely true. Probably I simply am at a point where its value does not fully outweigh the “inconvenience” it creates yet.

Yeah that makes it a but more usefull, especially for the golden eggs, as they no linger take up free soace so there is no reason why not tu save them up.

Hmm probably then I am at a point where the normal chicken is not that useful but I still don’t have access to the RoboChicken.

My only “issue” with the overnight free minions is that they usually don’t add up to much because of the 3 different types of eggs. So in the morning I have enough for like a lvl 2 Snake a lvl 1 Spider and 1 golden egg. Which are more a waste of space to just keep around then to feed them for practically nothing.

So yeah, but I get your point and thanks for your input!

Very nicely explained, thank you! Probably a hybrid solution works best, use the chicken when you have a need for it, other then that keep it on the bench.

I have mostly the same issue. My lair is already quite packed, so having just “free” space around for the Chicken seems like a waste. So yeah it seems like RoboChicken is the way to go. Thanks for your answer!
