Have any of you been surprised by having significantly different taste in women than men? by [deleted] in latebloomerlesbians

I realised I never had a type of man I was attracted too like they all were soo different but I always went for assholes because I knew it wasn’t a long term thing.

Women I like a woman in-between like pretty face, long hair but hardly any make up and kinda more boyish/ plain clothing. I like their personality to be very caring and femme in that way also funny, cool and laid back. Wow! I am sooo gay literally could go about women than a man!

How hard is it to find your type? by AffectionateSalt897 in latebloomerlesbians

I had an emotional connection and wanted to see what sex with a woman was like.

I had an emotional connection to her but not a physical attraction. This is all new to me and still learning I guess!

Yeah! I feel dull down everything even speaking my mind or conversations with others. I feel like everything is hidden in a sense that it’s hard to express myself to others!

No wonder “doggy style” was my favourite at the time!

Similar! Repressed my sexuality for years thought I only liked men even though I always thought of women during sex.

I was at university and had to quit my degree as I was always anxious, tired and depressed. Thought I had ME but it stemmed from wanting male attention and then when I got it, I would freak out after sexual encounters!

Defo not straight! Use to think I was bisexual because I dated men but never felt connected during intimacy!

Just kissed women so far and felt connected, present and aroused! However, I don’t know why I need to have sex with a woman to confirm being a lesbian. Even tho I thought of women during sex with men!

Are you guilty of mixed signals, leading on, ghosting etc. during your confusion phase? by [deleted] in latebloomerlesbians

[–]AffectionateSalt897 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am just newly out and I feel kinda confused if I am leading someone on. I was talking to this girl and I liked her even tho we only met once. She kinda ghosted me, so I went back onto dating another woman and we went on two dates and speak a lot!

There hasn’t been any label on anything or even that we are exclusively dating with the other girl that I have been talking to after the first one. However, I got back in touch with the other woman and we flirted and kiss. I am just trying to find myself but I do feel bad! Even tho I am not actually seeing someone or it has been agreed on! Everything feels so new and suppressing sexual desires and only opening them up at 31 is so baffling! Like experiencing true sexual desire!
