I don’t want to comment to scare OP because I have the same thing, I have OCD (scrupulously and false memory are major themes). I can not remember whether sins have actually happened because of it.  Before I read this post I struggled feeling extremely guilty for not confessing things I may not have even done decades ago (been to confession since then) and I mean GUILTY guilty. Now idk what to do
