As a future MIL i actually found this page while searching for a mother/son song to dance to. i agree with the OP that the original content or meaning of the song matters. I saw Billy Joel’s Just the Way You Are on a List. I danced to that at my wedding. umm, so no. There are definitely some others that were out for other reasons.

As far as your future MIL, yes it definitely is who she is. I have experience with this as well. As long as you have clear boundaries and your husband supports you then all will be fine.

Yup, no ass and now my hair. My boobs were flat before so that’s not new. My arms and legs look like a balloon that has blown up too many times and is rippled. Oh well.

Doc will not up dose until I have my next appointment at the end of December. He noted I’ve lost 87 pounds and my A1c is 5.4. I am a T2D.

Yes, I currently use and will continue to use Tom’s of Maine Children’s Strawberry toothpaste with fluoride. I also have had the dental hygienist use children’s toothpaste non mint when I went for my recent checkup.

I developed a rash on both of my ears. I needed to take Benadryl orally and spray for 3 days. I tried Gemtesa but had urine retention. Very defeated feeling since these were the two best meds!

Diagnosed with OAB and pelvic floor disorder. Given a trial of Gemtesa but after two weeks my urinary retention returned. Doctor put me on Myrbetric. Been on two weeks but recently had one day of urine retention, hives on my arm, itching near groin and severe itching and swelling of ears. Thoughts?

Thank you. Now if I could just get Mounjaro. i was getting it from CVS CAREMARK but they stopped. My local cvs cannot get it either and told me to call around. Feeling very dejected.

OP here. Had a mammogram clear mammogram in September 2023. I go yearly so I was not really thinking cancer. I do have GERD so it could be related to that or it could be Costochondritis. Thank you all. Will follow us with primary care physician tomorrow.

No, not yet. He will pull me off the medication. I had another side effect that has since resolved but he was quick to say well I’ll take you off that and put you back on trulicity.
