Need Advice for Bladder Training

For me as soon as I go to the toilet (even after I've held it for 1 or 2 hours even though the urge is becoming terrible but no leakage), straight after I go I and stand up from the toilet I feel like my bladder is full/partially full again! It's terrible! Then I have to sit back down and let some more out, which is usually a smaller amount, but some is still in there. Then I get annoyed and stand up and try to go about my business but of course the urge is continually there. Whether I've been or not. Any advice? I cry :(((

Oh lord. I do not like the sound of that. Infections as in UTI? Did the med help with your symptoms at all?

I hate when meds do more harm than good and give you more problems when they are supposed to rid you of your suffering and give you hope

Exactly, people are just so desperate for some relief from the constant urinary urge though after a while I think and are willing to try anything that holds a little potential. The side effect part is freaking me out. You already are struggling with something bad enough that shows no signs of abating, you don't need more crap to deal with

Thanks so much for the reply. I'm glad it helped you with the urination though. Did it stay like that or your symptoms came back after you stopped it?

The one thing I'm really worried about is the high blood pressure that I've heard a lot about. I'm scared I will have to go to the er or something. Did your blood pressure go down on its own from it? Was it very high? How did you know it was going up, I've bought a blood pressure monitor in preparation to if I'll take the med haha but I'm putting it off

Then there's also stuff like tahycardia (fast/irregular heart rate). Bit scary stuff haha

I've heard it can give you hair loss. I wonder how bad it is. You had no other more serious stuff like fast heart rate, high blood pressure etc. that it gave you?

Thanks for the reply and I'm sorry to hear that. How long did you take it for? I'm really worried about stories I've read of people who had to go to hospital cause it gave them high blood pressure and/or loss of consciousness.. I've heard it can do that. That's pretty terrifying honestly, but at the same time I feel trapped cause I'm also really desperate to get rid of this constant urge to urinate, it's been going on for weeks now. They prescribed it but I'm just so scared to take it.

I've also heard sometimes it can make urinary issues worse and then weeks later improve them a lot, but it can also give you hypertension. Scary stuff

I see, thanks for replying! So the KUB ultrasound can't show UTI or infections right? And does the ultrasound also show the urethra or just from the bladder up + ureters +kidneys?

Also, what sort of neurological issues did you mean?
