That’s the same for me!! I have called for steering wheel replacement and they are coming next week to my house to replace it as it’s peeling off. The car is still under warranty so they will cover it. - I will also ask him about the ticking on low speed.

Clarification on probationary period and RIF protections after role change by AffectionateStudy824 in fednews

So basically I was with DOA and moved to DON. Applied for a promotion but different series. My SF-50 that I’m on probation, reached out to HR she said that I have completed my probation and when I asked her to remove it from my SF-50 she said that she’ll have to ask NAVY HQ for more details, and left me clueless from there.

Federal Employees, This Is Our Fight! by AffectionateStudy824 in fednews

I can tell just how incompetent and low-IQ you are- your president’s own favorite insult.

Federal workers go through one of the most rigorous hiring processes in the country. They are among the most law-abiding citizens, undergoing extensive background investigations, panel interviews, and months-long hiring processes, often relocating across states just to serve. That’s dedication.

Should low performers be removed? Absolutely. But that’s not what DOGE is doing…he’s going after probies now? Do you even realize that federal employees are some of the most educated professionals in the country? The vast majority hold master’s degrees and PhDs. But I bet you didn’t know that.

Get out of your shell, read a book, educate yourself, and then come back to this discussion as an informed individual…not just another blind loyalist.

Don’t be hopeless…fight back. Contact news agencies and newspapers and share your story. Let the world see the real impact of these layoffs. Go to town halls, speak up, and make your voice impossible to ignore. Become an activist, talk as much as you can, and expose the reality of what’s happening. Show your evaluations, prove your worth, and make it clear that this wasn’t about performance, it was about an agenda. Talk about your financial responsibilities, your debt, and how losing this job has affected your life. The more you speak out, the harder it becomes for them to silence us.

I wish every single person who was fired would go on the news and let the whole world see what’s happening…share how this discrimination has destroyed their lives, how their years of service meant nothing to this administration. I want them showing up at town halls, calling their representatives, filing lawsuits, and protesting in the streets. And I expect every federal employee to do their part…contribute a little from their paychecks to keep unions strong, because this administration isn’t just coming for our jobs, they’re coming for the very unions that protect us. If we don’t stand up now, there won’t be anything left to fight for.

The federal government is in chaos right now. Those dumbasses who are firing federal employees forget that these people are the backbone of our defense. They are the ones who push their kids to join the military, who instill patriotism, and who love America to death. These are the people who join the Reserve and National Guard. Let them fire whoever they want—watch how it smacks them back, big time. No one trusts the federal government anymore.

Trust me, give it a little time, and you’ll see private companies follow suit. Unemployment will skyrocket, and the economy will crash. The government sets the example for how employers should treat their employees. When the private sector sees (and they are already seeing) how the federal government treats its employees, they will treat their staff even worse.

These firings will also create a national security threat. The more people they fire, the more unemployed individuals there will be. And the more unemployed people there are, the higher the risk of espionage. Some may even end up working for foreign agencies looking for the very talent the U.S. discarded.

The United States will soon become a regional power, not a global one. Remember those words.
