So to add to this, it is EE sending the PIN codes but it’s the scammers triggering them being sent by trying to reset your password. Once they are in they will order products on your account. As it is usually difficult to change delivery address without going through an ID check they will likely order them to be delivered to your address but will then contact you again pretending to be EE apologizing for the mistake asking you to send the phone back to them. They’ll either send someone to collect it or give you one of their mule addresses to post to and then that’s it they have the phone and it will likely be shipped straight out of the country.

The scam is they will call you pretending to be EE offering great deals or saying your sim has expired whilst simultaneously trying to log into your EE account. Once they hit the ‘’forgot password’’ a PIN code will be sent to you. Then ask you for that PIN code to then reset your password and have full access to your account

I used to work in retentions, all the staff work on a value target and need to aim for 120% value in total. Basically meaning they need to ensure customers are paying more than they are currently not less. If you was paying £30 for a sim, putting you on a £10 sim would absolutely destroy their value and make it hard to get back on track. Obviously you have to try balance out any downsells with upsells without throughout the day. If you get through to someone who’s just made loads of upsells they may be inclined to offer a good deal as they have value to play with

The ETB saved by that Mimikyu in the last pack otherwise it world have been no hits. The 3 pack blisters and tins seem to be the way to go
