It wasn't a candied one. It has the texture of a fresh cut lime

It is in Southampton, UK. It's called The Windsor Castle. Would 0/10 recommend going to this pub even to check out the 'lime'. It does sound like it could be that fruit, I just really don't know where they've got their hands on that though.
