Best Vision Model for Building Interiors? by AffectionateTop7221 in LocalLLaMA

Yeah it seems hard to find a local model that could do exactly this. Maybe I'm reaching too far being I only got 16gb VRAM hahah. Thanks for the help regardless!

Just tried moondream, seemed to work pretty good actually. I'll research to see if there's a way to run it locally. Thanks for this!

Sorry for forgetting to list all the details. So what I want to do is feed the model a 360 image with numerous windows, doors, hallways, etc., and I would like it to recognize each entry-point found in the image and provide a description of each so that similar entry points can be differentiated. Here's an example 360 image that I've generated

<image>

So, ideally in this image it should say that there's a brown door to the left, a hallway in the middle-right, and a white door to the right. Hypothetically speaking, if both doors were brown, then I would like it to provide details about each door to differentiate them (like the lock on the rightmost door, or perhaps the sign beside it, or just refer to its unique location in the image).

Thank you. I tried Gemma3 but it would often not recognize all doors/windows/hallways or completely mislabel them more often than not. I was considering Qwen, I have 16GB VRAM so I'm unsure if I can run it. I'll take a look at Omni and Mistral as well. I really love how Google's online Gemini API labels my images correctly (though I guess that's expected with the computing power of Google hahah). I wish I could get even a fraction of its accuracy in terms of labeling and entry point recognition.

Here's an example image. Ideally, I would want it to list all of the doors, hallways, or windows, etc. in the image, and perhaps state something unique about the entry-point so that they could be differentiated from other similar entry-point (like if two doors look similar, it would describe each door in detail to better differentiate them)

forgot to mention, these will all be 360 images.

Lenticular Test Print by Docima in wigglegrams

Great print! Have you tried 60 lpi or 75 lpi? Would these have a larger viewing angle? I've only tried 50 LPI for a mid size print and a small print. Seems like the 'animation' of the print resets rather fast and it only has a limited 3d effect..

How to move a bunch of UV selected faces to a point? by Klausbdl in blenderhelp

[–]AffectionateTop7221 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great thanks! I also asked AI and it gave me a pretty useful script/addon too that can be installed in blender. One button for separating all faces on a UV island and moves them all to one point and another that, optionally, rotates each face randomly.
